Class Specific Update:

Homework will consist of daily reading, spelling, times tables and occasional project work. Homework will be sent out on a Friday and is to be returned to school on a Monday morning.

Children will be heard read in class during Guided Reading sessions. Please help your child by regularly listening to them read at home.  Being a good reader means more than being able to read the words on the page, it also means being able to understand what is going on.  See the enclosed booklet for more information.

PE lessons take place each week – our class slot is Wednesday. Please make sure that your child has their kit in school ready to take part. School PE kit is white t-shirt, black shorts and black pumps for indoor and trainers for outdoor lessons. Please remember that children cannot take part in lessons if they have earrings in.  If your child does get their ear(s) pierced, they will need to be able to take their studs out before lessons by themselves. Staff are not allowed to help.
