Pupil and Family Support

Welcome to the Pupil and Family Support page!

As a school, we recognise that education is about more than academics. We are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of our pupils, their families and the staff.

Miss Westwell is our Pupil and Family Support Lead who is trained in delivering a range of pastoral and therapeutic interventions to help support your child's health and wellbeing. The interventions offered in school include; Sand Play Therapy, Drawing and Talking Therapy, Lego Therapy, ELSA (Emotional Literacy) and Relax Kids along with, friendship groups and in class support. For any further information regarding the pastoral interventions provided, or if you feel your child may benefit from this support, please contact Miss Westwell. Our school is very lucky to have 'The Ark'. The Ark is a calm, nurturing environment children can visit and use at different times throughout the school day. Pastoral interventions also take place in The Ark.

If you have any concerns or worries regarding your child's mental health or wellbeing, please contact school and we will support you as best we can.

Children and Family Wellbeing Service

Our school works closely with the Children and Family Wellbeing Service. The Children and Family Wellbeing Service (CFW) offers a wide range of support across the 0-19yrs+ age range (25 years for SEND) with a 'whole family' approach. The service identifies as early as possible when a child, young person or family needs support, helping them to access services to meet their needs, working with them to ensure the support offered is right for them, is offered in the right place, and at the right time.
